Supporters of My Girl Talk Cause Event

Today a mom friend asked how plans for my Girl Talk Cause Event are going. I was so excited to tell her things are ready. While I still have a few last minute details to workout, all the major things like location, food and of course swag bag items are all locked down!

I have to confess I'm beyond amazed at how quickly Linda and I were able to get things done. While I had the idea weeks ago to host this event when it came down to the final stages, I only had about 2 weeks to get everything done. Let me tell you 2 weeks when you're working and being a parent to a toddler is not alot of time. There were days when I just wanted to scream.

But the great thing about the mom blogging community is you're never alone. Once I started sharing my idea with other moms and friends the support teams started being formed and kicked into action. I was overwhelmed with how many people loved my idea of hosting an event that supported Pearl S. Buck International. I'm so thankful for the following sponsors and their support of my event.

Johnson's Baby Oil / The B-link Network

We are hosting this event as part of the Johnson's "Girl Talk Cause Party" Program through the connection with B-link Network. Major thanks to both for generously providing the assortment of Johnson’s Baby Oil products for attendees to use and enjoy while becoming more familiar with PSBI.

Johnson’s "Girl Talk Cause Party" Program’s goal is to bring women together to celebrate their friendship, make a difference in their communities, and of course, enjoy with Johnson’s Baby Oil products.

Johnson’s is committed to raising awareness for worthwhile charities and this year worked with WEEN (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network). In April, Johnson's recognized WEEN's hard work with a generous donation of $5,000 and wants to continue to raise awareness of WEEN's mission and work.

I attended a few events where I had the chance to sample some of DinDins Foods items and loved it. When planning for my event I had to ask them if they'd send some of their yummy food items for the attendees to sample. I was so please when Jodi quickly said yes and offered more then a few samples for my event.

DinDins Foods meals are organic, all-natural and homemade prepared from recipes devised by a nutritionist and cook. There are no preservatives, additives or artificial ingredients. DinDins meals come fresh and are freezer stable for 3 weeks. And, they will be delivered right to your door. No hassles with grocery shopping or cooking!

As you can see it takes a team of people to make an event happen. I am very grateful that I found such great people and companies to help me host my first event. Can't wait till Thursday when all the magic happens!
