Subways and trolleys and buses, oh my! This Sat, November 12th at the NY Transit Museum, I'm Mayor for this month's Kids Club 13 event: ElectriCity: Powering New York’s Rails at the New York Transit Museum

NYC Transit Museum

Note: I wrote this post as part of the Kids Club 13 Ambassador program. Views expressed are always 100% my own.

Kids Club members and our guest will be one of the first groups to check out the brand new exhibit “ElectriCity: Powering New York's Subways and Rails” which includes great hands-on activities like a capturing light with a solar panel and operating a model train with a hand-cranked motor.

The New York Transit Museum will open one hour early just for Kids Club members, so if your family loves trains, this is an event you do not want to miss. Make sure to arrive on time at 10 a.m. for a private experience in the museum. Members of Kids Club Thirteen enjoy free admission to The New York Transit Museum on the day of the event, plus members-only episode screening of The Electric Company, demonstrations, activities, goodies and more! Complete and turn in the Explore Challenge scavenger hunt by noon for the chance to win prizes from The Electric Company.

Would you like to be my guest for the event? Then leave me a comment with you contact email, so I can add you name to my guest list! Hope to see you there this Saturday. Choo choo!
