Caesar’s Hotel And Casino Atlantic City Review

I recently had a remarkable experience in Atlantic City staying at the Caesar’s Hotel and Casino right on the boardwalk. Caesar’s is a luxury hotel, casino, and spa resort with an ancient Roman theme. When we checked in, the front desk staff was exceptionally courteous and respectful and made us feel welcome right away.

Please Note: I was invited as media to cover the event. Hotel and food was covered by Bally's Atlantic City. Views expressed are always 100% my own.

The outside of the hotel has a Roman chariot while the lobby is stunning with Roman statues and columns with a beautiful blue sky. The lobby was my favorite part of the hotel because you feel like you have been transported back to Roman times.

When we entered our room, we were pleasantly surprised at the size. Living in Manhattan, we are accustomed to small spaces but our room was larger than most studio apartments. The room had two queen sized beds, a chair, and television but no refrigerator or mini-bar.

The décor was very modern with a brown and orange color palette. The bathroom had all the nice amenities – shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer which is always a must for two girls. There was no bathtub but the shower was a good size.

Once we were ready, we decided that it was time for lunch. The hotel has amazing restaurants for every taste and budget. The higher end restaurants range from seafood to steak including Atlantic Grill, Mia, Morton’s The Steakhouse, and Nero’s Tuscan Steakhouse.

However, we decided to try the buffet at La Piazza. The buffet had a variety of food choices from mussels and clams to baked ziti and macaroni and cheese. The quality at those we sampled was exceptional as was the service. The dessert buffet was even better. We enjoyed sampling as many desserts as we could; our recommendation is the red velvet cupcake.

Later in the afternoon, we thought about indulging ourselves at the spa. Services at the spa include massages, facials, and manicures/pedicures. Unfortunately services were booked so we didn’t get a chance to pamper ourselves. There is an outdoor pool as well but it was a little too cold outside to take advantage of it.

We did do a little window shopping in the Pier. The Pier has high end shopping including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Betsey Johnson. Since we could only dream about buying that Gucci purse, we hit the Casino to win big. The casino offers a huge range of gambling including craps, poker tables, black jack, and roulette. We ended up at the video poker machines.

For dinner, since we hadn’t made reservations, our only option was to eat at the restaurants in the Pier.

Note to everyone, if you want to eat at one of the main restaurants, make a reservation before you get there. We settled on the sushi restaurant Souzai. We enjoyed delicious cocktails and fresh sushi. The volcano roll was my favorite.

As for nightlife, Caesars does have three areas: Dusk Nightclub, Level 3 at the Pier, and Toga. While we were eating dinner, we saw well-dressed men and women and even some bachelorette parties heading to the clubs.

The next day before our bus ride back home, we indulged in some Gelato from Tazza. Tazza has a very nice selection of food. They have ready-made panini sandwiches, bagels with various toppings, a full menu of hot and iced coffee drinks and a very broad selection of dessert items. It’s convenient in the lobby when people are looking for something quick to go. My combination of Hazelnut and Peanut Butter Gelato was the perfect way to end my stay at Caesar’s!

I highly recommend Caesars as a place to stay when visiting Atlantic City because it’s convenient to get to on the boardwalk, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly, plenty of good food options, and great crowd.
