Today we headed over to Queens for The 2013 Mama’s Expo at the New York Hall of Science. I was invited as media to this event and received a gift bag. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

My son enjoyed a day filled with lots of activities while I scoped out some of the newest and trendy parenting products and companies.

Since the Mama’s Expo was hosted by The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) there was 3 floors PLUS an outside area to see exhibitors. I really liked that there was also tons of family friendly activities and exhibitors.

At the Wildlife Conservation Society tables my son learned about animals while coloring and then he was able to plant seeds to grow his own vegetable. The WCS sites like the Queens Zoo and Queens Botanical Gardens have lots of programs that families can enjoy for either the summer or year round.

We also spent some time learning about Super Soccer Stars. My son liked learning some soccer basics. I liked how supportive and encouraging the representative is. We're going to learn more about their class.

After all that outside play we needed to hydrate and headed over to the Honest Tea booth. My son enjoyed their Honest Kids juice pouches while I enjoyed their Honest Ade. So good!

After some fun outside it was time to move indoors for some drumming with Music Together, a early childhood music program involving singing, moving, chanting, listening, and exploring musical. Such a fun area.

After all that fun it was time to see more exhibits. There was 3 floors of booth and tables filled with a diverse selection of products from baby care, to home products to even a NYC dad support group. While I would like to recap all of the exhibitors, there was just to many to feature in this post. Instead I'll share about a few that caught my eye.
